A red wine that comes to life: Leovì presents Faraglione.

LEOVI' WINE COMPANY
Founded in 2014, Leovì is a winery established by Vincenzo Leo and Annarosa Pierri, who are partners in life and work. It was born from a modern and innovative vision that integrates professional skills with a careful approach to viticulture.
The estate stretches between San Pietro Vernotico and Cellino San Marco, in the province of Brindisi. In the Cantamessa district, Leovì covers 30 hectares, 10 of which are dedicated to Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello vineyards, while the remaining land is used for olive groves.
The decision to start wine production is the natural culmination of a journey built over time through investment and work in the vineyard. The first red wine is the mature expression of a consolidated project, which today presents itself to the market with a clear identity, confirmed by the launch of the first bottle.
WINE QUALITY
Faraglione is a wine created by oenologist Lino Carparelli, combining the elegance of Susumaniello with the structure of Primitivo to produce a wine with character, designed to evolve interestingly over time.
It is made from grapes grown on medium-textured, mainly clayey soils and harvested by hand. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, and an additional 4 months in the bottle. Production is limited per vintage.
In the glass, it is an intense ruby red with violet hues. The aromatic profile is dominated by wild berries and cherries, with notes of blackberries and spices. On the palate, it is enveloping and harmonious, with powerful but well-balanced tannins and a long, persistent finish.
AUGMENTED REALITY
Leovì combines quality and technology and entrusts the design of the Faraglione label to a communications agency specialising in interactive visual marketing, chosen for its affinity with innovative visions.
The label incorporates augmented reality: by scanning the QR code on the back and then the label on the front, without the need to download any apps, the image comes to life and “speaks”, giving voice to the wine and accompanying it in the story of its identity.
