LEOVI' WINE COMPANY

Founded in 2014, Leovì is a winery established by Vincenzo Leo and Annarosa Pierri, who are partners in life and work. It was born from a modern and innovative vision that integrates professional skills with a careful approach to viticulture.

The estate stretches between San Pietro Vernotico and Cellino San Marco, in the province of Brindisi. In the Cantamessa district, Leovì covers 30 hectares, 10 of which are dedicated to Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello vineyards, while the remaining land is used for olive groves.

The decision to start wine production is the natural culmination of a journey built over time through investment and work in the vineyard. The first red wine is the mature expression of a consolidated project, which today presents itself to the market with a clear identity, confirmed by the launch of the first bottle.

WINE QUALITY

Faraglione is a wine created by oenologist Lino Carparelli, combining the elegance of Susumaniello with the structure of Primitivo to produce a wine with character, designed to evolve interestingly over time.

It is made from grapes grown on medium-textured, mainly clayey soils and harvested by hand. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, and an additional 4 months in the bottle. Production is limited per vintage.

In the glass, it is an intense ruby red with violet hues. The aromatic profile is dominated by wild berries and cherries, with notes of blackberries and spices. On the palate, it is enveloping and harmonious, with powerful but well-balanced tannins and a long, persistent finish.

AUGMENT

Leovì combines quality and technology and entrusts the creation of the Faraglione label to Skylab Studios, a visual communication agency specialising in visual interaction marketing, chosen precisely for its affinity with innovative vision.

The label incorporates augmented reality: by scanning the QR code on the back and then the front label, without the need to download any app, the image comes to life and begins “talking”, giving voice to the wine and accompanying the story of its identity.

'Vincenzo and Annarosa's enthusiasm won us over right from the start,“ explains Leonardo Tosoni, Art Director at Skylab Studios. 'We imagined Faraglione as a proud and charming female figure, suspended between the past and the future, who comes to life to tell her story.” An image that recalls the colours of wine and earth, with an elegant and evocative narrative.

Leovì presents Faraglione, its first red wine, launching a project that combines quality and innovation. An elegant blend of Primitivo and Susumaniello, decisive and with a rich and balanced body. The bottle has a talking, interactive label that uses QR codes and augmented reality to stimulate the taster's emotions, involving them in an immersive experience.
